Abstract:
Provided is a fin tube-type heat exchanger with which it is possible to maintain the strength of the portion at the outside of the connecting part between a heat transfer pipe and a bend pipe and/or a branch pipe, where there is no holding member and which is difficult to surround with a brazing filling material, while significantly reducing the wall thickness of the heat transfer pipe. In this fin tube-type heat exchanger (1), many fins (3) are inserted through heat transfer pipes (2), with side plates (4) being arranged at both ends thereof, and the ends of bend pipes (4) and/or branch pipes (7) are inserted into the ends of the heat transfer pipes (2) and are connected by means of brazing. Bar rings (4B) which protrude outward are provided around the insertion holes (4A) of the side plate (4) into which the heat transfer pipes (2) are inserted, and the size (L) of the portion at the outside between the ends of the bar rings (4B) and the ends of the bend pipes (5) and/or the branch pipes (7) which are inserted into the ends of the heat transfer pipes (2) and are connected by means of brazing, where there is no holding member and which is difficult to surround with a brazing filling material, is set within a range of 0-5 mm.
