Title:
FINE PARTICLE DETECTION ELEMENT AND FINE PARTICLE DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/049236
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A fine particle detection element includes: a casing having a gas flow path through which a gas passes; a charge generation unit for applying an electric charge generated by discharge to fine particles in the gas introduced into the casing to obtain charged fine particles; and a capturing electrode which is provided on the downstream side of the flow of the gas in the housing with respect to the charge generation unit and captures the charged fine particles. The gas flow path is a rectangular parallelepiped space extending from a rectangular gas inlet port to a gas discharge port of the same shape as the gas inlet port, and when the fine particle detection element is arranged in the gas flow and the gas passes through the gas flow path, a low-flow-velocity portion where the flow velocity of the gas becomes lower than the flow velocity of the gas passing through the inside of the gas flow path is generated in the region downstream of the gas discharge port.
