Abstract:
An ultra-fine particle dispersion liquid manufacturing apparatus 10 is equipped with a control unit 11, a light source 12, an irradiating optical system, and a container 14. A solvent 2 is injected into the container 14 along with solid matter 1 contained therein, enabling the solvent 2 to come into contact with the solid matter 1. The light source 12 repeatedly outputs pulsed light. The method manufactures an ultra-fine particle dispersion liquid dispersed with ultra-fine particles in a solution by repeatedly irradiating a pulsed light from the light source 12 into the solvent 2. That generates pressure waves in the solvent 2 by expanding and contracting the solvent 2 at irradiated locations and causes pressure waves to act on the solid matter 1 thereby atomizing the solid matter 1. Disclosed are an ultra-fine particle dispersion liquid manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus that easily suppresses generation of impurities and enables highly efficient generation of ultra-fine particles.
