Abstract:

Fine particles having a cholesteric liquid crystal thin film layer excellent in visibility for a selectively reflected light. Fine particles covered by a cholesteric liquid crystal are provided by dispersing fine particles for nuclei in a solution of a cholesteric liquid crystal, removing a solvent, treating the residue with heat and cooling the resultant product.
