Abstract:
A finger vein machine learning recognition method and apparatus based on a terrain concave and convex characteristic. The method comprises: performing size normalization on a registration finger vein image and a verification finger vein image; performing image enhancement on the registration finger vein image and verification finger vein image; acquiring a terrain concave and convex characteristic from the registration finger vein image and verification finger vein image on the basis of a digital elevation model, and extracting a registration feature and a verification feature; performing translation and rotation calibration correction on the registration feature and verification feature, and performing a sliding window similarity calculation on an overlapped area of the calibration corrected vein feature; and optimizing a feature extraction technical parameter and a recognition technical parameter of the finger vein on the basis of a calibration correction parameter and a sliding window similarity parameter. The apparatus comprises a normalization processing module, an image enhancement module, a feature extraction module, a parameter calculation module, and an optimization module. The described method and apparatus improve finger vein recognition technical capability and the adaptation capability for different image qualities.
