A fingerprint anti-counterfeiting method and device, used for efficiently achieving a fingerprint anti-counterfeiting function. The method comprises: obtaining a fingerprint image (101); controlling a camera to obtain a face image under a preset triggering condition (102); performing face recognition on the face image according to a pre-stored face template (103); and determining that the fingerprint image is a true fingerprint image when the face recognition is successful (104). Due to the fact that a user may be uniquely identified by fingerprint features or face features belonging to the same user, the fingerprint features and face features of the user may be associated, and an obtained fingerprint image may be determined to be a true fingerprint image if the face recognition of a face image is successful according to a preset face template. The face image obtained by the fingerprint anti-counterfeiting device may only be obtained under the preset triggering condition, and participation of the user when the device obtains the face image is limited, so that opportunities for counterfeiting a face image are further reduced, and therefore an efficient fingerprint anti-counterfeiting effect is achieved.
