Abstract:

A fingerprint collecting method and a related device. In the fingerprint collecting method and the related device, a sensor array is divided into multiple areas according to columns on the basis of the number of input ports of an analog front-end component and the number of columns of the sensor array, and sensor units in different areas multiplex input channels of the analog front-end component via switches. As such, when a row scanning circuit scans row scan lines in the sensor array, the switches can be controlled, and raw fingerprint data collected by the sensor units in the different areas is outputted to the analog front-end component in a time-division manner, thus reducing the required number of input channels of the analog front-end component, thereby reducing the size of the fingerprint collecting device.
