Abstract:
A fingerprint identification apparatus (130) and an electronic device (100). The fingerprint identification apparatus (130) is arranged below a display screen (120) so that a fingerprint collection area (103) of said apparatus is at least partially located in a display area (102) of the display screen (120); the fingerprint identification apparatus (130) comprises: a support member, one end of the support member being used for connecting the display screen (120), the other end of the support member being used for connecting a circuit board (140) below the fingerprint identification apparatus (130), the support member being provided with a fixing structure, and the fixing structure being used for fixing an optical collimator; an optical fingerprint sensor provided on the circuit board (140); the optical collimator provided on the fixing structure, so that the optical collimator is provided above the optical fingerprint sensor, and a distance between the optical collimator and the display screen (120) and a distance between the optical collimator and the optical fingerprint sensor satisfy the imaging requirements of the optical collimator. Therefore, the fingerprint identification apparatus (130) can implement effective fingerprint identification.
