A fingerprint identification apparatus and an electronic device, which may improve the fingerprint identification performance while making the fingerprint identification apparatus thinner and more lightweight. The fingerprint identification apparatus comprises: a plurality of fingerprint identification units distributed in an array, each fingerprint identification unit comprising: a microlens, at least two light-blocking layers in which a plurality of light guide channels in different directions are formed, and a plurality of pixel units which are arranged below the plurality of light guide channels in one-to-one correspondence. Included angles between the directions of a plurality of first light guide channels and a first direction are first included angles, and included angles between the directions of a plurality of second light guide channels and the first direction are second included angles, and the first direction is the normal direction of a plane where the plurality of pixel units are located; a first pixel unit is used for receiving a first target fingerprint light signal conducted by the first light guide channels, a second pixel unit is used for receiving a second target fingerprint light signal conducted by the second light guide channels, and the first target fingerprint light signal and/or the second target fingerprint light signal are used for fingerprint identification.
