Abstract:
Disclosed are a fingerprint sensor (100, 200, 400, 500) and an electronic device (300). The fingerprint sensor (100, 200, 400, 500) comprises a substrate (102, 202, 402, 502), a sensor array (104, 204, 404, 504) and a control chip (106, 206, 506). The sensor array (104, 204, 404, 504) and the control chip (106, 206, 506) are arranged on the substrate (102, 202, 402, 502) at intervals. The control chip (106, 206, 506) is connected to the sensor array (104, 204, 404, 504) through connecting lines (108, 214, 216, 414, 416, 514, 516) formed by a wire bonding process. In the above fingerprint sensor (100, 200, 400, 500), since the sensor array (104, 204, 404, 504) and the control chip (106, 206, 506) are arranged on the substrate (102, 202, 402, 502) at intervals and are connected via connecting lines (108, 214, 216, 414, 416, 514, 516), the sensor array (104, 204, 404, 504) and the control chip (106, 206, 506) can be fabricated using different methods, which can reduce the cost of the fingerprint sensor (100, 200, 400, 500) and facilitate large-scale application of fingerprint sensor (100, 200, 400, 500).
