Abstract:
Disclosed are a fingerprint sensor module realized by placing a TFT array on a thin film using a process for manufacturing flexible displays, and a fingerprint recognition apparatus having same. The fingerprint sensor module comprises: a base film having a fingerprint sensing area, a wing area surrounding the fingerprint sensing area, a first signal connection area adjacent to the fingerprint sensing area, a component mounting area adjacent to the first signal connection area, and a second signal connection area adjacent to the component mounting area; a TFT sensor array formed in the fingerprint sensing area; a plurality of first signal lines that are formed in the first signal connection area and have one end connected to the TFT sensor array; an external component that is mounted in the component mounting area and has one end connected to each of the first signal lines; and a plurality of second signal lines that are formed in the second signal connection area and have one end connected to the external component.
