Abstract:
A fingerprint verification method comprises: receiving an identity verification instruction, and obtaining a service parameter carried by the identity verification instruction, a type of the service parameter comprising one of an application identifier, a user account, or a service numerical interval (S102); searching for sample fingerprint data that is recorded in advance and that corresponds to the service parameter (S104); receiving input target fingerprint data (S106); and completing identity verification by matching the target fingerprint data with the found sample fingerprint data (S108). Also disclosed is a fingerprint verification apparatus. The fingerprint verification method and apparatus can improve system security.
