Abstract:
Disclosed is a fingerprint verification method. The method comprises: collecting fingerprints of designated areas of at least two fingers to obtain an original fingerprint image of each of the fingers; combining the collected original fingerprint images to obtain a verified fingerprint image; extracting fingerprint feature information about the verified fingerprint image; and determining whether the extracted fingerprint feature information matches pre-stored fingerprint feature information, and outputting a determination result. Correspondingly, also disclosed is a fingerprint verification apparatus. By means of the present invention, leakage of complete fingerprint information can be prevented from the source of fingerprint collection, thereby improving fingerprint security.
