A FIR filter bank and a filtering method, the FIR filter bank comprising a control circuit (102) and a data processing circuit (101) coupled to each other; the data processing circuit (101) comprising an array of data flow buses (1011), a buffer resource pool (1012), an arithmetic logic unit (ALU) resource pool (1013), and an accumulator resource pool (1014); and the control circuit (102) comprising: a data flow controller (1021), a buffer resource mapper (1022), a filter coefficient memory (1023), an ALU controller (1024), an accumulation resource organizer (1025) and an output timing controller (1026).
