Abstract:
A fire alarm device (10), which wirelessly communicates with at least one slave device (20) and operates as a master device for the at least one slave device (20), is provided with: a monitoring unit (12) which monitors the at least one slave device (20) at regular or irregular intervals and thereby determines whether or not there is an abnormality in the at least one slave device (20); and a notification unit (15) which, if a first monitoring unit (12) determines that there is an abnormality in the at least one slave device (20), notifies of the abnormality, wherein, after receiving a dead battery signal from a slave device (20) among the at least one slave device (20), the monitoring unit (12) does not determine that there is an abnormality in that slave device (20) during the monitoring even if the monitoring unit (12) cannot receive radio waves from that slave device (20).
