Abstract:
Provided is a fire alarm capable of achieving a long lifetime of a battery even in the case where communication is performed with another fire alarm and a management device. The fire alarm (30) is provided with a communication circuit (32) that receives a signal transmitted thereto by intermittent reception, and a control unit (33). The communication circuit (32) communicates with the other fire alarm by a first communication system and communicates with the management device by a second communication system different from the first communication system. The control unit (33) drives the communication circuit (32) in a cycle of the intermittent reception. After driven, the communication circuit (32) measures a signal intensity of a signal received by the first communication system and measures a signal intensity of a signal received by the second communication system. In the case where the result of either measurement is equal to or more than a threshold value, the communication circuit (32) receives the signal by the communication system by which the measurement result becomes equal to or more than the threshold value.
