Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fire extinguisher for a secondary battery and a battery pack comprising same, wherein the fire extinguisher for a secondary battery comprises a core-shell structured microcapsule for fire extinguishing and a polymer composition, so that in the event of a fire, the fire is quickly extinguished by the decapsulation of the microcapsule for fire extinguishing, thereby securing safety from recently increasing battery pack-related fires or explosions.
