Abstract:
A fire extinguishing composition comprising alcohol phenol compounds and derivatives thereof, the fire extinguishing composition utilizing heat generated by combustion of pyrotechnic powder to release a large amount of effective fire extinguishing particles. The fire extinguishing composition comprising alcohol phenol compounds and derivatives thereof reacts at a high temperature to generate a large amount of nanoscale effective fire extinguishing particles; the fire extinguishing particles react with one or more of the free radicals of O ⋅, OH ⋅, and H ⋅ necessary for a chain combustion reaction, to cut off the chain combustion reaction, while producing physical and chemical inhibitory effects to achieve fire extinguishing results. In addition, the fire extinguishing composition generates a synergistic effect with the pyrotechnic powder, further improving the fire extinguishing efficacy of the fire extinguishing agent, and greatly shortening effective fire extinguishing time.
