Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fire-safe electric double-layer device, wherein when a fire is caused by overheating (at temperatures as low as 90℃, there is a risk of fire, and at temperatures as high as 120℃ or higher, an electrolyte (76) begins to decompose, reaching 200℃, resulting in thermal runaway and explosion. Thus, the reference temperature is set at approximately 90℃) due to a short circuit, overload, or shock in an electric energy module (70), an expansion flame-resistant paint layer (90) swells to apply expansion pressure, thereby actively extinguishing the fire.
