Title:
FIRE- AND SOUND-PROOFING PIPE STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1999/047846
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A fire- and sound-proofing pipe structure arranged in the interior of a housing, wherein a through-hole portion of a slab constituting a floor or a ceiling or a wall of the interior of the housing has a pipe structure equipped with only a fire-proofing layer on the outer periphery of a rigid resin pipe and portions other than the through-hole has a pipe structure equipped with a sound-proofing layer on the outer peripheral surface of the fire-proofing layer. Since the through-hole portion of the slab has the pipe structure equipped with only the fire-proofing layer on the outer periphery of the rigid resin pipe in this fire- and sound-proofing pipe structure, the pipe structure can be arranged in the same pipe space as that of conventional fire-proofing two-layered pipes. The portions of this fire- and sound-proofing pipe structure other than the through-hole portion have the pipe structure equipped with the sound-proofing layer on the outer peripheral surface of the fire-proofing layer, and the sound generated by a fluid flowing through the pipe can be efficiently prevented from getting out into rooms.
