Abstract:
A firmware upgrade method for a stylus, a terminal and a stylus, the method comprising: a terminal acquires a firmware upgrade file for a stylus and carries out encoding processing on the firmware upgrade file (101); a touch screen of the terminal makes contact with the stylus to generate a touch signal corresponding to the encoded firmware upgrade file and sends the touch signal to the stylus (102), thereby upgrading firmware of the stylus; similarly, the stylus makes contact with the touch screen of the terminal so as to receive the touch signal (401); the touch signal undergoes decoding processing to obtain a firmware upgrade file corresponding to the touch signal (402); and the stylus is subject to firmware upgrade according to the firmware upgrade file (403). On the basis of the described method, the stylus receives a firmware upgrade file by contacting a touch screen of the terminal, and the firmware upgrade file undergoes encoding and decoding processing and is transmitted in the form of a touch signal that may be transmitted between the terminal and the stylus, so that the stylus is subjected to a firmware upgrade without configuring a wireless module.
