Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fish hook barb easily manufactured to have a simple structure, and capable of being easily mounted in a shank of a fish hook so as to firmly and stably fix a lure inserted into the fish hook. The present invention provides a barb capable of being mounted in a shank (20) of a fish hook comprising a sharp needle tip (30), and a body (10) of a curved portion, the shank (20) of a linear portion, and a head (40) of an upper end of the shank (20), so as to easily insert and firmly fix a lure (L), wherein the barb essentially comprises: a barb body (1) assembled in the shank (20) of the fish hook; a thorn (2) protrudingly formed on one side of the barb body (1) so as to be upwardly inclined; and an inclined portion (3) for allowing the lure to be inserted more easily.
