Abstract:
A fishbone removing device, a fishbone removing method, and a comb-toothed cutting tooth for fishbone removal. The fishbone removing device can easily and rapidly remove cervical vertebrae, ribs, and pin bones according to the various types and sizes of fishes ranging from medium-sized fishes such as salmon to small-sized fishes such as sardine and herring, increase yielding by almost eliminating fish meat remaining on the bones, and provide fish meat usable for sliced raw fish without being collapsed. To achieve this purpose, the fishbone removing device comprises a fish body support means (3) supporting the internal surface of the cut peritoneal cavity of a fish body, a pair of comb-toothed cutting means (7, 7) having a large number of comb teeth (71a) inserted between the pin bones of the fish body from the upper side or lower side of the fish body, and a comb-teeth drive means (8) peeling off the fish meat by moving these comb-toothed cutting means (7, 7) in the back and belly direction thereof until the comb teeth (71a) are inserted in a clearance between the pin holes, and moving the comb-toothed cutting means (7, 7) in the back and belly direction of the fish body or changing the direction thereof and moving away from the side of the fish body.
