Abstract:
A fisheye lens image correction method and an apparatus therefor are disclosed. The fisheye lens image correction method comprises the steps of: (a) acquiring a fisheye lens image photographed through a fisheye lens; (b) applying a magnification rate on the basis of an orthogonal projection model so as to correct the geometric distortion of the fisheye lens image in stages; and (c) compensating, per patch unit, for a high frequency component of an image corrected in the previous step in the fisheye lens image in which the geometric distortion is corrected.
