Abstract:
The invention allows use of hollow filter sheets even when a portion of the hollow filter sheet is damaged while being used. Multiple layers of hollow filter sheets (1) are laminated with ring-shaped packing (5) sandwiched and fixed therebetween and suctions pipes (3) inserted therethrough, and the spaces between the hollow filter sheets (1) and the suction pipes (3) are tightly sealed with water-tight structures. The hollow filter sheet (1) is provided with a hollow part (10) between two sheets of filter material (11). A spacer (12) with protrusions and depressions on the surface is disposed in said hollow part (10). The packing (5) presses the two sheets of filter material (11) onto the surfaces of the spacer (12), changing the shape of the filter material (11) into a shape that conforms to the surface of the spacer (12). A narrow passage space (7) is provided between the filter material (11) and the spacer (12) for passing liquid therethrough. Said narrow passage space (7) is smaller than the effluent space (8) that is between the spacer (12) and the filter materials (11) not sandwiched and fixed between the packing (5).
