A fitting member includes a claw part unit (4) provided between a pair of base members (2, 3) formed in a band shape. The both base members are engaged with each other by the claw part unit, and the gap between the both base members is sealed. The claw part unit comprises a seal unit (5) and an engagement unit (6). The seal unit includes a male claw part (8) and a female claw part (7) for receiving the male claw part so that the gap therebetween can be brought into a liquid-tight and airtight state. The engagement unit includes a pair of hooks (17, 18). This fitting device is characterized in that the side wall of the female claw part of the seal unit is formed as a restricting part (37) for preventing the fitting unit from displacement in the withdrawal direction of one of the hooks.
