Abstract:
A five-axis double spline curves interpolation speed planning method, related to constant-speed double spline curves interpolation speed planning methods in a speed sensitive range under the physical axis drive performance constraints of a five-axis computer numerical control machine. The method calculates the first to third orders of differentials of a parameter of physical axis positions of a five-axis computer numerical control machine with respect to the arc length of a blade tip trajectory on the basis of equal arc length dispersion performed on a blade tip trajectory curve (1), thus acquiring a relation between a physical axis movement and a cutting tool trajectory. With axial drive performance limiting conditions serving as constraints and with a balance between processing operation stability and processing efficiency as a goal, optimized is the seeking of the speed sensitive range. By means of two-way scanning, speed values and parameters of speed increase and decrease starting point curves of speed-sensitive ranges are determined. The present method effectively balances the processing efficiency and processing quality of five-axis interpolation, the computational efficiency of the algorithm is high, and the real-time performance is great.
