Abstract:
Disclosed are a seam edge structure for a small-scale irregularly shaped tank and a manufacturing method thereof, in particular a pressed and inverted seaming method. The structure comprises a tank body seam edge (11) and a tank base seam edge (21) made from the same model of plate material, characterised in that the tank body seam edge (11) covers the tank base seam edge (21) to be rolled inwardly by 90 degrees, so as to form a five-layer structure of a tank body seam edge (111) layer - a tank base seam edge (212) layer - a tank base seam edge (213) layer - a tank body seam edge (114) layer - a tank base (215) layer arranged in sequence. Use of the above-mentioned five-layer seam edge structure for a small-scale, three-plate, irregularly shaped tank has a greatly improved sealing performance compared with the prior art and can effectively improve damp-proof performance, thereby protecting the safety of food products inside a case. By using the pressing seaming method, the seam edge will not produce an "iron tongue", there is no gap inside the seam edge, and the production method is simple and production efficiency is high.
