Abstract:
Compounds represented by the general formula (&Verbar ) or salts thereof, which have excellent effects of lowering the weight of fatty tissue, blood sugar level and blood lipid level and are useful as preventive and therapeutic agents for obesity, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, impaired glucose tolerance, hypertension, and so on: (&Verbar ) wherein R1 is a group derived from an optionally substituted five-membered heterocycle; X, Y and V are each independently a free bond, oxygen, sulfur, or the like; Q is a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; A is an aromatic ring which may have one to three additional substituents; Z is -(CH2)n-Z1- or -Z1-(CH2)n- (wherein n is an integer of 0 to 8 and Z1 is a free bond, oxygen, sulfur, or the like); B is a nitrogenous heterocycle which may have one to three additional substituents; W is a free bond or a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; and R2 is hydrogen, cyano, -PO(OR9)(OR10) (wherein R9 and R10 are each independently hydrogen or optionally substituted hydrocarbyl, or R9 and R10 may be united to form an optionally substituted ring), or the like.
