Abstract:
The present invention enables reliable fixation between a deflector made of a synthetic resin material and a nut. In the present invention, a deflector (2) is formed of a synthetic resin material, is inserted from a radially outward side of a nut (5) into a deflector mounting hole (6), and has a ball return path (4) formed in an inner surface section (20) thereof and flanged projections (16) formed on the outer surface section (23) side. In the deflector mounting hole (6), guide hole sections (14) for guiding the flanged projections (16) along the radial direction of the nut (5) are formed, and deflector support surfaces (18) for supporting the flanged projections (16) are formed. In each guide hole section (14), a mounting groove (22) for a retaining ring (21) is formed, and the retaining ring (21) retains the flanged projections (16) placed on the deflector support surfaces (18) by sandwiching the same with the deflector support surfaces (18). The retaining ring (21) is formed of an elastically deformable material, is inserted into the deflector mounting hole (6) in a state of being elastically deformed in a diameter-shrinking direction, and then is elastically restored to the original shape in a position abutting the flanged projections (16) placed on the deflector support surface (18) so as to be accommodated in the mounting grooves (22). As a result, the retaining ring (21) prevents the deflector (2) from falling out from the deflector mounting hole (6).
