Abstract:
A fixed-point observation device 10 for measuring environment information corresponding to fixed-point coordinate information representing a specific position on the earth, the fixed-point observation device 10 comprising: a coordinate information acquisition unit 11 for using positioning satellites to acquire coordinate information representing the position of the fixed-point observation device 10; a return information generation unit 12 for using the fixed-point coordinate information and coordinate information to detect when the position of the fixed-point observation device 10 has moved from the specific position by more than a prescribed distance and, upon detecting this movement, generating return information for returning the fixed-point observation device 10 to the specific position; a drive unit 13 for moving the fixed-point observation device 10 on the basis of the return information; and an environment information recording unit 17 for recording environment information.
