Abstract:
A fixed radar-based vehicle parking method for a smart parking garage comprises: comparing elevation data of a point cloud of the entire parking zone (3) and a point cloud of a vehicle in the parking zone (3) to obtain a position coordinate of the vehicle in the parking zone (3); and grasping the vehicle by a vehicle grasping manipulator (2) at a smart parking garage according to the position coordinate of the vehicle, and parking the vehicle in the garage. A fixed radar-based vehicle recognition system for a smart parking garage comprises a multistorey garage (1), a vehicle grasping manipulator (2), a parking zone (3) for vehicle parking, a radar scanning device (4) for scanning and acquiring a position coordinate of a vehicle in the parking zone (3), and a host computer for controlling operation of the vehicle grasping manipulator (2). The recognition system and the parking method can solve problems of parking difficulties and low parking efficiency, reduce parking skill requirements, and improve parking efficiency.
