FIXED RADAR AND MOVABLE RADAR-BASED VEHICLE RECOGNITION SYSTEM AND PARKING METHOD

Provided are a fixed radar and movable radar-based vehicle recognition system and a vehicle parking method thereof. The system comprises a multistorey garage (1) and a vehicle grasping manipulator (2). The system further comprises a parking zone (3) for vehicle parking, a radar scanning device (4) for scanning and acquiring a position coordinate of a vehicle in the parking zone (3), a host computer for controlling operation of the vehicle grasping manipulator (2), and a single line laser radar (7) for verifying the position coordinate of the vehicle in the parking zone (3). In the vehicle parking method, a position coordinate of a vehicle in a parking zone (3) is obtained by comparing elevation data of a point cloud of the entire parking zone (3) and a point cloud of the vehicle in the parking zone (3). After the single line laser radar (7) at the vehicle grasping manipulator (2) has confirmed a position of the vehicle, the vehicle is grasped and parked in a garage. The vehicle recognition system and the vehicle parking method thereof effectively realize quick parking of a vehicle in a garage.
