Abstract:
A fixing component 20 for releasably fixing an accommodated object such as a proximity sensor 10, when the proximity sensor 10 is to be accommodated in a hollow portion 17 of an accommodating body 18 in which an opening 16 narrower than the inside thereof has been formed, is provided with a head portion 21 that is disposed rotatably in the opening 16 of the accommodating body 18, wherein: the head portion 21 includes a head portion main body 25 to be disposed between opposing surfaces 16a, 16a of the opening 16; a side peripheral surface 25a of the head portion main body 25 is provided, in the perimetrical direction, with radial loosely fitting portions 31 which fit loosely between the opposing surfaces 16a, 16a of the opening 16, and radial locking portions 32 which lock between the opposing surfaces 16a, 16a of the opening 16; axial locking portions 26 protruding radially outward from the radial locking portions 32 are provided in positions in the head portion 21 corresponding to the radial locking portions 32; and the fixing component can be fixed between the opposing surfaces of the opening with the accommodated object attached or removed, and can be reliably prevented from falling out from the opening.
