A male connector (200) to be connected to a female connector disposed in a case receiving vehicle-mounted electric equipment includes a contact point to be connected to the contact point of the female connector, cables (124, 125, 126) connected to the contact points, and a shield shell(102) covering the contact points. The fixing construction for the male connector (200) includes bolts (118, 120) for fixing the shield shell (102) to the case, on the contact point side, and a clamp (100) for fixing the cables to the case, on the cable side. The fixed state of the cables established by the clamp (100) is such a state as to allow movement of a subject of fixing more easily than does the fixed state of the shield shell (102) established by the bolts (118, 120).
