Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fixing device for an elevator wall decorative plate for minimizing a thickness of an engaging part exposed between decorative plates to enhance aesthetics, the fixing device comprising: a female frame (10); a male frame (20); and a trim (30), wherein the female frame (10) includes: a bottom part (12) of an elongated square plate shape fixedly attached to a wall; a vertical wall (14) extending upwardly from the bottom portion (12); and a first support part (16), in the form of an elongated square plate, extending horizontally from an upper end of the vertical wall (14) to the entire length of the vertical wall and having a first groove (15) formed between the first support part (16) and the bottom part, in which a decorative plate (1) is fixed by means of a fastener or an adhesive (3) on an upper surface of the first support part; wherein the male frame (20) includes: an engaging part (22), of an elongated square plate shape, fitted to the groove (15) of the female frame (10) and having a protrusion (2) of a shape conforming to the inner end of the groove (15) formed at one end; a vertical wall (24) connected to the other end of the engaging part; and a second support part (26), of an elongated square plate shape, extending horizontally from one end of the vertical wall (24) to both sides of the vertical wall and having a second groove (25) formed between the second support part (26) and the engaging part (22), in which another decorative plate is fixed by means of a fastener or an adhesive on an upper surface of the second support part; and wherein the trim (30) includes: a raised latching part (32) in the form of an elongated square plate coupled to the second groove (25) of the male frame (20); a vertical wall (34) extending at a right angle from one end of the raised latching part (32); and a supporter (36) formed horizontally along the entire length of the vertical wall so as to protrude to both sides of the one end of the vertical wall (34) and to be exposed to the outside while supporting the decorative plates on both sides.
