Abstract:
Provided is a fixing liquid which is capable of improving the fixability. This fixing liquid contains: an ester-based softening agent which is capable of softening a toner; water; and a polypropylene glycol which has three or more oxypropylene units. The water is solubilized with respect to the ester-based softening agent by means of the polypropylene glycol.
