Abstract:
Provided is a fixing member which is capable of reliably fixing plate-like modules such as solar cell modules, and which has high versatility. A fixing member (10) is equipped with an upper piece (11) which is capable of abutting the upper surfaces of plate-like modules (1), and extends laterally; a shank portion (12) which extends downward from the center of the upper piece (11); and a lower piece (13) that comprises abutting sections (13a) and a curved bottom surface (13b), said abutting sections (13a) extending in both directions from the lower end of the shank portion (12) to larger lengths than the upper piece (11), and the upper side of said abutting sections (13a) being capable of abutting the lower surfaces of the plate-like modules (1); and a mounting hole (14) that is formed in that portion of the lower piece (13) which is on either one side of the shank section (12), and that is bored through downward. Under this configuration, if the lower piece (13) is mounted on a mounting member (5) via the mounting hole (14), in a state where a side surface of one of the plate-like modules (1) is made to approximately abut the shank portion (12) of the fixing member (10), then the upper piece (11) lowers and abuts the upper surface of said one of the plate-like modules (1), and one of the abutting sections (13a) of the lower piece (13) abuts the lower surface of said one of the plate-like modules (1).
