Abstract:
A flaky glass according to the present invention comprises a first flaky glass base material and a second flaky glass base material, and meets at least one of the following requirements (A) and (B): (A) the average thickness of the first flaky glass base material falls within the range from 0.05 to 2 μm, the average thickness of the second flaky glass base material falls within the range from 2 to 20 μm, and the average thickness of the second flaky glass base material is three times or more larger than that of the first flaky glass base material; and (B) the mode thickness D1 in the thickness distribution (in terms of number) of the first flaky glass base material falls within the range from 0.03 to 2.5 μm, the mode thickness D2 in the thickness distribution (in terms of number) of the second flaky glass base material falls within the range from 1.5 to 25 μm, and the thickness D2 is twice or more larger than the thickness D1.
