Abstract:
A flame-retardant polyamide resin composition which exhibits high flame retardance and excellent flowability, scarcely generates gas in molding, and is suitable for the production of electronic components such as connectors and switches. This composition is characterized by comprising 40 to 89 parts by weight of a polyamide resin (A) comprising 5 to 95 wt. % of nylon 66 and 95 to 5 wt. % of nylon 6, 10 to 50 parts by weight of a brominated polystyrene (B), and 1 to 20 parts by weight of an auxiliary flame retardant (C) in a total amount of 100 parts by weight.
