Abstract:
Provided is a flame-retardant resin composition which contains: a base resin; calcium carbonate particles which are blended in an amount of 10-150 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the base resin; a silicone compound which is blended in an amount of 0.5-10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the base resin; and a fatty acid-containing compound which is blended in an amount of 1-20 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the base resin. With respect to this flame-retardant resin composition, the calcium carbonate particles have an average particle diameter of less than 0.7 μm.
