Abstract:
Disclosed is a flame-retardant resin composition comprising a polyolefin resin and, with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin: calcium carbonate particles blended in a proportion of 5 parts by mass to 80 parts by mass; aluminum hydroxide blended in a proportion of 50 parts by mass to 125 parts by mass; a silicone compound blended in a proportion greater than 1 part by mass to 10 parts by mass; a fatty acid-containing compound blended in a proportion of 3 parts by mass to 20 parts by mass; and a zinc-containing inorganic compound blended in a proportion of 1 part by mass to 7 parts by mass. In said flame-retardant resin composition, the calcium carbonate particles and aluminum hydroxide are blended in proportions such that the total is 55 parts by mass to 130 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin.
