Abstract:
This flame-retardant resin composition comprises: a base resin; a silicone compound mixed in a proportion of 1-12 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the base resin; a fatty acid-containing compound mixed in a proportion of 1-10 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the base resin; and a filler mixed in a proportion of 10-80 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the base resin. The content of a low-density polyethylene in the base resin is 10-90 mass%, the content of a low-density polyethylene-based thermoplastic elastomer in the base resin is 10-90 mass%, and the content of a modified polyethylene in the base resin is 0-80 mass%. The filler is composed of at least one selected from the group consisting of calcium carbonate and silicate compounds.
