Title:
FLAME-RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND MOLDED PRODUCT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/132869
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A flame-retardant resin composition comprises a flame retardant as well as a thermoplastic resin comprising a cellulose-based resin. 40-60 wt% of the overall flame retardant is constituted of a first metal hydroxide particulate having a particle size of 100-1,000 nm, the particle surfaces having been modified by an epoxy-based silane coupling agent; and 60-40 wt% of the overall flame retardant is constituted of a second metal hydroxide particulate having a particle size of 10-50 nm, the particle surfaces having been modified by an amino-based silane coupling agent. This flame-retardant resin composition possesses superior flame-retardant performance, mechanical properties, and moldability.
