Abstract:
A flame-retardant thermoplastic material used for a lithium battery module and having a thermal runaway diffusion inhibition function. Specifically, disclosed is a structure applicable to a battery module, and in particular, a plastic material containing a nontoxic flame retardant and an enhancement modifier. The nontoxic flame retardant is polyphosphoric acid metal salts, melamine phosphates, melamine cyanurates, phosphate esters, borates, or a mixture thereof. The enhancement modifier is metal oxides and derivatives thereof, metal hydroxides and derivatives thereof, or silicic acid metal salts. Therefore, the present invention has functions of inhibiting thermal runaway, resisting combustion propagation, and heat conduction.
