Abstract:
The present invention provides flame-retardant wood, a preparation method therefor and the use of a halide. The preparation method for the flame-retardant wood comprises impregnating wood with a salt solution. In the present invention, wood is impregnated with a metal halide having a low price to obtain the wood retaining a natural color and a natural grain and exhibiting high flame retardance. The flame-retardant wood is very suitable for environments having a decorative effect, and is expected to be applied to multiple fields such as furniture, buildings, shipbuilding, and ancient wood preservation.
