Abstract:
The present invention relates to rayon fibers having flameproof properties, wherein: a silicate is contained in the rayon fibers; the rayon fibers have a single fiber fineness of 0.5 dtex to 2.9 dtex; and the degree of roughness in a cross-section of the rayon fibers satisfies at least one of the following requirements (1) and (2).
(1) The average degree of roughness is 2.10 or less.
(2) The proportion of the fibers having a degree of roughness of less than 2.0 is 40% or more.
