Abstract:

Provided is a flange coupling part reinforcing jig which is capable of preventing the separation and displacement of both flange coupling parts in a simplified manner at low costs while reinforcing a conduit having the flange coupling parts into an earthquake-resistant conduit with predetermined earthquake-resistant performance. The flange coupling part reinforcing jig (P) is provided with: a pair of clipping members (5 and 6) with pressing parts (5C and 6B) which can be each brought into contact with outer surfaces (1a and 1a) of the flange coupling parts (1A and 1B) that are bolted together; and a fastening means (7) which brings the clipping members (5 and 6) closer to each other in a flange coupling direction to thereby fixedly fasten the same with the pressing parts (5C and 6B) of the clipping members (5 and 6) kept in contact with the outer surface (1a and 1a) of the flange coupling parts (1A and 1B). At portions of the clipping members (5 and 6) opposed to each other in the flange coupling direction are formed an inner fitting part (5A) and an outer fitting part (6A) which are fitted to each other in the flange coupling direction at a position radially outside outer peripheral surfaces (1c and 1c) of the flange coupling parts (1A and 1B).
