Abstract:
The present invention consistently manages, in association with a flange, a gasket and a fastening condition from selection to implementation, and alleviates the burden of an operator while implementing a highly reliable flange fastening management. A flange fastening management method according to the present invention, in which a computer (controller 6) is used together with a fastening tool (4) for fastening flanges by using a plurality of bolts and nuts with a gasket (14) disposed therebetween, includes: a step of acquiring fastening condition information about the flange (12); a step of acquiring gasket information suitable for the flange; a step of collating the gasket information acquired from the gasket and determining whether the gasket is suitable for the flange; and a step of applying a fastening torque from the fastening tool to the bolts and nuts according to a fastening condition acquired from the fastening condition information when the gasket selected is suitable for the flange.
