Abstract:
This flapping device (1A) is provided with: a power source (20); a power transmission mechanism (30); wing bodies (40R, 40L) driven by the power transmission mechanism (30); and an engaged body position adjustment mechanism (50). The power transmission mechanism (30) includes: a slider (35); rotating bodies (38R, 38L); elastic belts (36R1, 36R2) engaged with the slider (35) and the rotating body (38R); elastic belts (36L1, 36L2) engaged with the slider (35) and the rotating body (38L); an engaged body (37R) surrounded by and engaged with the elastic belts (36R1, 36R2); and an engaged body (37L) surrounded by and engaged with the elastic belts (36L1, 36L2). The engaged body position adjustment mechanism (50) moves the engaged bodies (37R, 37L) and thus variably adjusts the positions of the engaged bodies (37R, 37L).
